  • We are 29 synagogues and 10 non-profit organizations in the New York City area.
  • We joined together in June 2016 to share information and work together on the Syrian refugee crisis and to support legislative efforts to increase the number of refugees allowed into the country.
  • Our involvement has expanded and now includes advocating for immigration reform and working to support immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers on the southern border as well.
  • Our coalition is entirely made up of volunteers, led by members of congregations from a variety of Jewish denominations with the support of our individual clergy. We are joined by representatives from several local and national non-profit organizations including HIAS, with whom we have worked from the start.
